Ochenta y Dos is celebrating its 10th season of operation with reasonable rates, starting at only $99.00 US per night, per room for two guests  This is a newly constructed building with a historic design, along with a keen eye on preservation is the latest addition to the boutique accommodation market in Centro Merida. Built with smart home technology and advanced environmental sustainability, including solar power and natural resource for pool water,  it does make Ochenta y Dos a unique property in Historic Mexico.

All our guests will feel at home during their stay here in a safe and private environment. All guest rooms and outdoor spaces are accessed through a security gate and then through the main house into a secluded poolside oasis.  We offer privacy, security, and comfort for everyone.

With four poolside guest rooms and the maximum of eight guests at any given time, Ochenta y Dos is perfect for a quiet getaway, destination wedding or an alternative stay for the business traveler. Each morning a prepared hot breakfast is served in the dining room or on the rooftop terrace, relax by the pool during a private cocktail hour  at no additional cost.

New this year an additional out door space on the terrace for sunbathing, socializing or jus relaxing.

Having been in the bed & breakfast business for many years, with a successful guest house in Canaan, New Hampshire  the owners relocated to Phoenix, Arizona and for four years were hosts on Air BNB with their home; Casa Mescal as well as to offer a rustic retreat, Greenwood Cabin in the mountains of the Mogollon Rim in Northern Arizona for daily or weekly rental.

Our rules are simple, you are guests in our home, we respect privacy, personal choices, and are an adult only property currently.

We have 4 delightful small dogs;

Mario, Max ,Mo and Milo. Our guests love the M's and are very respectful to guests and their space.  Currently pets are not allowed as a general rule. Please ask.

There plenty of safe and close street parking with CSTV monitoring on  the property and street. Merida has been named the safest city in Mexico a number of time by many organizations.
